Annual Business Meeting 2021

The TPPC Annual Business Meeting takes place during our Awards Luncheon at the TPPC Annual Conference. The business meeting is an opportunity for current TPPC members to vote on any new or unfinished business that needs to take place. We do not always have a business meeting if there is no new/unfinished business that requires the general body of members to vote on.

This year we will have two items on the agenda that will require the general body vote: Election of a new President-Elect to serve a 1 year term and approval of proposed TPPC Bylaw changes. More information below.

President-Elect Nomination and Election

We will need to elect a new President-Elect to serve 1 term and then become President of TPPC starting in 2022. Below are the President-Elect requirements and duties.

Requirements:
  • The individual shall have been a member of TPPC for at least four (4) full years and prior to nomination.
  • Served on a committee for at least (1) full year prior to nomination
Duties:
  • Act as Secretary at all meetings and determine a proxy for the Secretary if unable to  attend a meeting.
  • Prepare and send minutes within a timely manner to the membership.
  • Serve on the Finance Committee
  • Assist the President and other committee members where needed.
  • Assist with Conference Planning and membership outreach.

NOMINATIONS ARE DUE JANUARY 1.
Voting will take place digitally in the month of January.

TPPC 2021 Proposed Bylaw Changes

During the Spring of 2020 the Executive Board reviewed the current TPPC Bylaws and found the bylaws were out of date and needed to be updated. Most of the changes presented are updates to information to bring the bylaws in line with what we have been practicing. The President will make a motion to approve all changes in the proposal and the general membership body will need to approve the changes with a majority vote.

Please review the proposed changes so that you are informed ahead of the General Business Meeting.
***Any information/text that is in RED is being removed/deleted.***
***Any information/text that is highlighted is being changed/added***

If you have questions or suggestions for the proposed changes, please email [email protected]. All suggestions will be reviewed by the board for a final proposed draft to be presented to the TPPC Membership Body for final approval.

***Suggestions, comments, etc from members are due November 1, 2020***

Voting will take place digitally in the month of January
