Senior Lifeguard

Description: Qualified candidates
will ensure user safety and well being, deliver excellent
customer service, maintain a clean and aesthetically
pleasing facility, and serve as a quality leader and
support resource for all employees.
Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have worked for the City of Dripping Springs at
least 3 months or at least 6 months with another aquatic
facility(s). If an employee is returning for another
season, they must have had a rehire status of “yes.”
Must be able to work a minimum of 2 shifts or 25 hours
per week (except in cases of vacation or similar situation).
Trainign & Experience: Must be
certified with the following nationally recognized training
agency and supply an instructor signed copy of their
current license for records (photocopy will be made
and kept on file):
•American Red Cross
Must be certified in the following minimum components:
•Lifeguard Training
•First Aid
•Adult, Child and Infant CPR /AED for the Professional
Rescuer Employee is responsible for current certifications.
City of Dripping Springs will hold paid in-service trainings
to meet any and all city, county and state requirements.
Additional Information: City of Dripping
Springs will provide one t-shirt uniform.
Candidates will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Candidates will be interviewed upon successful completion
of pre-interview skills assessment.
Requirements and standards may be reviewed and changed
at any time deemed necessary by Aquatics Director.
Salary: $9 to $9.50/hr can commensurate
with experience
