Description: Under general supervision, manages group and private swim lessons and staffing. Incumbent is responsible for record keeping of all classes and reporting to the local Red Cross Chapter in a timely manner. Enforces all rules and regulations pertaining to the safety and well-being of visitors and patrons. Performs related work as required. Reports to Aquatics Director.


Qualifications: Lead all levels of Red Cross Learn-to-Swim program to all age groups.
Provide corrective feedback and proper stroke technique.
Maintain structure and discipline within a group setting, while encouraging and promoting student participation in a positive manner.
Maintain certain class records and reports as required.
The ability to speak English clearly and understandably.
Perform related duties as required.
Deal tactfully and courteously with the public.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all aquatic employees, and Founder’s Pool guests.
Manage swim lessons.

Trainign & Experience: Must possess current ARC Water Safety Instruction or equivalent training and/or experience, and CPR. We will train you how to instruct classes and teach water safety.

Physical Requirements: Must be at least 17 years of age and able to lift up to 50 lbs. and react quickly to emergencies.

Salary: $15.00/hr
